  • Doves

The Doves play a special role in promoting the Christian ethos, values and spiritual life of our school. As pupil leaders, they help visitors understand the importance of Religious Education, spirituality and collective worship at Ingatestone and Fryerning C of E Junior School, proudly sharing how our faith and values are lived out each day.

The Doves take an active role in leading and supporting acts of worship, encouraging reflection and helping other children explore our school values. They act as role models within the school community and are passionate about ensuring that every child has opportunities to engage with spirituality and faith in meaningful ways.

Importantly, the Doves have a strong voice in shaping school life. They contribute ideas, gather the views of their peers and work alongside staff to enhance the spiritual environment of the school. Most recently, they helped to develop our Community Prayer Wall in the hall, creating a welcoming space where children, staff, families and visitors can share a prayer and tie a coloured ribbon to represent their moment of reflection.

Through their leadership, the Doves help to nurture a school community where everyone is encouraged to reflect, grow and live out our vision and values every day. 🕊️
