Everything we do is rooted in our commitment to helping every child flourish.
We understand that emotional wellbeing, positive mental health and personal development are central to children’s happiness, confidence and achievement.
Through our graduated three-step approach, we provide a range of support that develops resilience, encourages personal growth and ensures help is available when it is needed most.
Children who may need additional support are identified promptly, and staff work closely with families to build strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of each child’s unique experiences and needs.
Step 1: Universal Provision for All
Our universal offer forms the foundation of wellbeing support and is available to every child. Through a nurturing school culture, high-quality teaching, a carefully planned personal development curriculum, and strong relationships with trusted adults, all pupils have access to learning and support that promotes positive mental health and emotional wellbeing. This includes explicit teaching of social and emotional skills, opportunities to develop resilience and self-esteem, wellbeing-focused activities, and a safe environment where children feel valued, listened to and supported. By embedding wellbeing into everyday school life, we help all children build the skills and confidence they need to flourish.

Step 2: Targeted Support
For some children, additional support may be needed to address emerging needs. Targeted interventions, small group programmes and enhanced pastoral support provide opportunities for pupils to develop specific skills, overcome barriers and strengthen their wellbeing.

Step 3: Specialist Intervention
Where needs are more complex or persistent, personalised support is provided in partnership with families and external agencies. This ensures that children receive specialist intervention and tailored strategies to help them achieve the best possible outcomes and reach their full potential.
