Class Italy

Class Italy have kick-started the term with an exciting journey through the geography, culture and history of Italy. The children have been learning about Italy's climate and exploring key periods in Italian history, from the influence of the Romans to the creativity and innovation of the Renaissance and beyond.

To bring their learning to life, pupils enjoyed tasting Mrs Bhula's homemade tiramisu and evaluating a range of traditional Italian foods, including the ever-popular Margherita pizza. These hands-on experiences helped deepen their understanding of Italian culture and traditions.

The creativity has continued in art, where children have been inspired by the work of Italian artist Umberto Boccioni. The artwork they have produced has been truly exceptional, demonstrating impressive skill, imagination and attention to detail. We think some of the pieces look good enough to rival GCSE artwork!

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity that Class Italy has shown as they immerse themselves in their topic and discover all that this fascinating country has to offer.
