Class Greece have embarked on an exciting journey across the Mediterranean, exploring the culture, history and traditions of this fascinating country. As part of their learning, the children have enjoyed tasting some of Greece's most famous delicacies, including halloumi, olives and taramasalata, and have carefully evaluated the different flavours and textures.

The class has also been captivated by the world of Greek myths and legends, learning about the gods, heroes and creatures that have inspired stories for thousands of years. A particular highlight has been the wonderful classroom display featuring Medusa, which is both delightfully scary and incredibly effective!

Creativity has been flowing too, with pupils decorating beautiful terracotta pots inspired by traditional Greek art and design. Their enthusiasm, imagination and positive attitude have already shone through, and they have demonstrated what a fantastic class they are going to be as the academic year unfolds.
